The Flyco program takes several dedicated aerialists and immerses them in training for 10 months at 10+ hours per week with just the cohort. We focus on both bar and vertical aerial fundamentals as well as ground skills like dance, acrobatics, and flexibility. Curriodities is the culmination of our ensemble work where we present four shows over two days, free for the public, in a park in Portland. We also presented an ensemble act for Awol’s winter gala, Curriodites, and final solo presentations judged by our coaches in a show fully put on by our cohort. I’m talking emcee, rigging, lights, music, the whole shebang. All of these acts can be viewed in my Video Library. I also made costume adjustments and accessories to bring our delightfully odd vision to life—all that ruffly stuff, thats me :)
