Duality - Tempos Training Company

October 2022 - May 2023

Tempos Training Company takes a cohort of promising acrobats and dancers, provides intensive training in partner acrobatics and act creation, culminating in a final collaborative full-length show. We met twice a week for a total of 5 hours plus one recreational class. Over the course of 8 months we shared weight, shared ideas, had some pieces choregraphed on us and some devised by our members. This collaboration resulted in the creation of the full length show, Duality.

Duality looks at the what happens when we look in the mirror and see the other side. We explore the parts of us we want to broadcast and the ones we want to hide. The behaviors we want to control and the ones we can’t. Watch the full show below.
